Open play sessions prefect for little ones to explore the wonderful world of gymnastics. During these sessions children (up to school age) can play on all the apparatus from the floor and rings, in the foam pits and on the bars and trampolines. Toddlers have 50 minutes of unstructured play becoming familiar with the equipment. Please note these are NOT coach lead classes, adults attending are responsible for their own children. Sessions are priced at the following; please ensure you choose the correct booking for your child: 0-6 months old – FREE (no booking required) 6 – 12 months old: £1 1 – 2 years old: £3.50 2 – 4 years old: £5.50 Pre-booking essential as numbers are limited. Spaces are opened per term and spaces can be booked individually. **If there is a child with Down syndrome attending, they must be screened for Atlanto-Axial instability - without the club having a record of this we cannot allow attendance in this session. Please see the instructions below on how to do this: - Forward on the Atlanto-Axial Instability Information pack attached to this email to the parent of the child with Down syndrome who will need to book an appointment with a medical practitioner to have this check completed - Once filled out, this will need emailing to inclusion@british-gymnastics.org who aim to get back to you in 30 days. Leeds Gymnastics Club will also need a record of this form to update our records.
