This pre-school class is for gymnasts who are 12 months to 4 years old. These classes allow for children, along with accompanying adults, to explore the equipment with the freedom of a semi-structured approach. Set ups will be provided, with coaches leading activities and songs. These pre-school classes are held at our satellite site (John Smeaton Leisure Centre). Bookings can be made on a weekly basis. **If there is a child with Down syndrome attending, they must be screened for Atlanto-Axial instability - without the club having a record of this we cannot allow attendance in this session. Please see the instructions below on how to do this: - Forward on the Atlanto-Axial Instability Information pack attached to this email to the parent of the child with Down syndrome who will need to book an appointment with a medical practitioner to have this check completed - Once filled out, this will need emailing to inclusion@british-gymnastics.org who aim to get back to you in 30 days. Leeds Gymnastics Club will also need a record of this form to update our records.
